Steve Colling, director
Steve’s entire career has been in research; mainstream qualitative and quantitative work for 20 years before Onearth. Much of this was working for large brands such as; Financial Times, Mercedes Benz, Motorola, Virgin and Vodafone. In 2006 he took an important decision, to apply this expertise totally to projects relating to the environment and climate change – to help create a more sustainable future. So Onearth was born.
Steve has a degree in psychology, is a LEAD Fellow and Visiting Fellow in Sustainable Development with the Centre for International Business at Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge. He’s a full member of the MRS (Market Research Society) and ASP (Association of Sustainability Practitioners). He has worked in over 30 countries is a guest lecturer on the MBA in Strategic Carbon Management at UEA. He’s also a founding director of the GreenMinds.

Les Hendry MBE, director
Les comes from a background of managing large scale operations for big organizations around the world. In 1999 he shifted emphasis and teamed up with Steve to work in research. Les' role at Onearth is split between that of MD, researcher director and project manager. His specific interests are around the issues and tensions of global population, the science of climate change and emerging technology solutions.
Les is a qualified engineer with additional qualifications in maths, statistics and management. He’s a LEAD Fellow, member of the Chartered Management Institute and Institute of Directors.
