As part of the 2011 Hay Festival (www.hayfestival.com) Onearth was invited to run two sessions and an online survey:

For the first session, Steve shared the stage with Jane Davidson and Jeremy Davies. The panel discussion was chaired by the BBC's environment correspondent David Shukman and debated our research around the emerging language of energy, commissioned by E.ON, in partnership with Futerra.

The second session was for the Green Dragon's Den. Steve discussed current thinking on the relationship between peoples' values, attitudes and pro-environmental behaviours. Why we are reluctant to change and what helps to motivates us.

In the month leading up to the Festival, we ran an online survey on the Hay website. Visitors were asked about their views on coverage of environmental issues in the media and changes they would like to see. A short summary of the key findings can be downloaded by clicking here.
